The logo represents the intersection of two words that have very different connotations in terms of warmth, softness, and rigidity: humanitarian law. The foundation of the identity is an information container, a flexible, easy-to-work-with tool that allows the brand to take up visual space regardless of messy pictures or grave reports. The color scheme was designed to always allow for black text, as a way of making sure the seriousness of a black serif font always seeps into the viewer’s eye.
